I was looking through my Jagnews e-mail when I stumbled apon an event that I could not turn down.

The Humane Society of Indianapolis is hosting the Mutt Strut Sunday April 27th. It's a pet walk at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to help raise money for animals without a home.

I will be walking my adopted dog Xander. He belongs to my sister and her fiance Terry, but being his "Auntie June" and part-time babysitter I count him as partially mine.

(My middle name is June if you were wondering)

I wish I could walk my cat Stinky in this event. He is the size of a small dog, seriously.

There are so many animals out there in need of a good home, since I can't save them all by adopting them, I am raising as much money as I can in a week to help

out. My original goal was to raise $100, we passed that in two days. I raised my goal to $150, and as we approach that I am thinking I might raise it again.

Thanks for taking your time to help out the animals.
