Cross country teams do well in Greencastle

IUPUI men's and women's cross country team continued to build on an impressive start last Saturday in Green Castle.
Both teams participated in the DePauw Indoor Class and had runners finish strong in several races. Freshman runner Aaron Kremer took second place in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 15:11:94. In the same event for the women's team another freshman, Brittney McDuffee finished third of 21 runners with a time of 18:36:70.
Junior men's runner Jesse Cacy 14th of 30 place finish of 16:15:81. Freshman Jessica Polston made her indoor debut, finishing 22nd out 34 runners with time of 5:49:37 in the mile.
Both teams return to action on March 22 when they participate in the Gerry England Invitational at Michael A. Carroll Stadium.
