This past, Friday IUPUI was host to The Third Annual Men's Empowerment Luncheon, presented by the Student African American Brotherhood (SAAB)in the Campus Center. This year's theme was Revolution of Thought: Undoing Learned Hopelessness. The luncheon's objectives were to
enlighten the young Black leaders of tomorrow about how important their roles are in society, regardless of how mainstream media
portrays them. This event brought in African American males students from all over the Indianapolis area and some as far as Gary. This year's Keynote Speaker was Dr. David O. Stovall, Assistant Professor of Policy Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
