In a society where promiscuity is so prevalent in our personal lives, the right to know about your health is a serious issue. IUPUI's Black Student Union presents AIDS Awareness Week to increase everyone's sexual health awareness. This Thursday, Oct. the 11, free HIV and AIDS testing will be held in the Lower Level of University College from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Oct. 12 at 7:30 p.m. after the BSU meeting, a showing of the movie "Life Support" featuring Queen Latifah will be shown in "The Corner" at the Campus Apartments. This movie gives a depiction of individuals who live with the HIV virus and who have not given up on life. Last on the calendar for AIDS awareness week is the AIDS Walk. Oct. 14 at 8 a.m., members of the BSU will be meeting in the parking lot across from Lecture Hall. For more information contact the Black Student Union at www.iupui.edu/-blacksu.
